Welcome to LI 863 XI!

Welcome to class! I look forward to teaching and to learning from you as we dive into the world of public libraries!

This is a practical, real life course in the leadership and administration of public libraries. The course will cover issues relevant to public libraries today and help prepare the future public library leader for managing those issues.
The goal of the course is to introduce you to a number of current issues in public librarianship in order to acquaint them with the expected and unexpected….and provide the tools and information to handle both.

Many of the posts on this blog are archived and were posted in the past three years. They may or may not be applicable to class. I will occasionally post new entries that I hope you will find interesting. Also, I'm open to suggestions for blog content.

Thanks for taking this class, & let's enjoy it!
