Today was the regularly scheduled joint meeting of the State Library Advisory Council and the Kansas Library Network Board. It was the last meeting for Dr. Stella Bentley, KU Dean of Libraries, as she is retiring at the end of this month. She's been an inspiration to me, and a wonderful support during my first year in Kansas. The Board presented her with a certificate honoring her service to SLAC and the library community.
